Almost there

Goodbye again

Do you know that feeling when everything is great but you'r not quite sure. Your hart is racing, shivers run down your body and a faint feeling of butterflies in your stomach comes over you. And you're not quite sure why. You know something is about to happen. You have a vague concept of what that is, but can't be entirely sure. I mean you have done this before, but it doesn't feel the quite same. It is a big black hole you're about to jump into, you have no clue what is going to come about and you're excited about too!

That is how feel right now. Although there is still the not so pleasant part of saying goodbye again. I will miss my friends and family here in Holland. I am sad I won't see my nieces and nephews grow up first hand and that I won't be here to support my brother with his new business or go have a sushi extravaganza with my best friends. But I do feel the love they give me and that strengthens me. Knowing that when I come back, if I come back, bonds will still be strong.

Only 10 more days before I embark on a new adventure. After 3 years in the Caribbean and now 1 year in The Netherlands it is time for me to chase after the sun.

First I will stay with good friends in Portland, Oregon in the USA. From there I will fly, with a 23 hour lay-over in Hawaii!!, to Sydney, Australia. There I will begin my travels until a yet to be defined moment.

I don't know what I will be doing, where I will end up and who I will meet, but if you want to know this is the place to be!
